Tips and Gratuities

Tips processed through TipCrew are voluntary gratuities left by customers for service workers. Once a tip is confirmed and distributed to workers, it is generally non-refundable. If a customer believes a tip was made in error, they should contact support within 24 hours of the transaction.

Erroneous Transactions

If a customer was charged incorrectly — for example, a duplicate charge or an amount that does not match what was selected — we will investigate and issue a refund for the erroneous portion if verified. Please contact support with the date, amount, and location of the transaction.

Platform Fee Refunds

Platform fees are non-refundable unless the underlying tip is fully refunded. In cases where a full tip refund is approved, any associated platform fee will also be returned.

Disputed Charges

If a customer disputes a charge through their bank or card issuer, we will cooperate with the payment processor to resolve the dispute. TipCrew reserves the right to suspend payouts related to disputed transactions until the dispute is resolved.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@tipcrew.app with your transaction details, including the date, amount, and location. Our team will review and respond within 2 business days.

Business Account Refunds

Business account subscription or service fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable. If you cancel your business account, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
